   2 lbs. B sugar (brown sugar)
   26 oz. shortening
   1/2 oz. soda (baking soda)
   salt
   vanilla

   5 eggs
   _______________________
   2 1/2 lbs. flour
   1 1/4 lbs. choc chips (chocolate chips)
   ********************

   *Original recipe divided by 4
   *Recipe rounded to nearest cooking fraction

   1/2 lbs. B sugar (brown sugar) = 1 1/8 Cup
   6 1/2 oz. shortening = 7/8 Cup, substitute 1 cup butter or margarine
   1/8 oz. soda (baking soda) = 3/4 Teaspoon
   salt = Pinch
   vanilla = Dash

   2/3 lbs. flour = 2 1/2 Cups
   1/3 lbs. choc chips (chocolate chips) = 1/2 Cup
